Dr. David W. Appleby
Dr. David W. Appleby is President of Spiritual Interventions, Inc. and a Pastoral Counselor at Wyndhurst Counseling Center, in Lynchburg, VA. He received his B.A. from the University of Delaware, his M.Div. from Denver Seminary, his M.A in Psychology, Counseling, and Guidance, and Ph.D. in College Student Personnel Administration (College Counseling) from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware in Family Studies with an emphasis in Fathering.
Dr. Appleby has been involved in both graduate and undergraduate education in the Center for Counseling and Family Studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, in the Department of Individual and Family Studies at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, as Director of the Counseling Center at St. Mary’s College of Maryland in St. Mary’s City MD, and as Chairman of the Psychology Department at Greenville College in Greenville, IL. He was also an Associate Pastor and then Senior Pastor at Immanuel Church in Wilmington, DE for sixteen years. Dr. Appleby has also been involved with the deliverance ministry for nearly thirty years and has written, taught, trained, and ministered both in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Beth Meltzer
Dr. Beth Meltzer directs the northern Virginia location of Spiritual Interventions, which meets in the Gainesville/Manassas area. She received her undergraduate degree from College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, MA, and completed her Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Liberty University. She currently holds a Doctor of Ministry degree with a specialty in children’s and family ministry. With more than twelve years in church ministry, Beth’s passion has always been to empower parents to be all that God created them to be and to help them reclaim their biblical mandate to inspire and guide their children lovingly to know and serve God.
Beth is dedicated to helping parents grow emotionally healthy families, experience more joy, and flourish in their relationships-with each other and with God. Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” John 10:10. What Satan has stolen, God can restore.

Dr. Regina Curtis
Dr. Regina Curtis currently directs the Danville, VA site of Spiritual Interventions. Dr. Curtis is the visionary and founder of Cross Roads Reconciliation Services in Danville, VA. Regina accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 8. She was called into ministry in 1999 while attending Bible college. In 2002, Regina was commissioned as a missionary of Christian counseling and was ordained as a minister of Christian Counseling in 2008. Regina holds a Doctorate of Ministry from Beacon University’s Institute of Ministry. Prior to her Doctorate, she received a Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity. She is licensed through the National Christian Counselors Association as a National Clinical Pastoral Counselor.
